Info about donating hair

Does anyone know how long hair needs to b in order to b able to donate it?

I think the pony needs to measure 14 inches. It showed instructions on the website of tganization I donated to. Don’t remember the name of it though.

Ask the organisation you intend to give to. They should let you know.

Can u name a few organizations pls? I have no clue myself. My son is getting his haircut and has gorgeous long blonde hair. I wud love to donate it…

I know Natani Sheitels takes donated hair and you get a tax receipt for it. They use it for sick ladies as well as a chesed when they have a section pulled out expressly for the purpose for ladies to afford high quality for RH +. My friend did this years ago. Still has it and it’s her favorite one.
