It is absolutely worth it to make your own! Because you know what you have and haven't done before then.

It can range from the minimum (make sure you're following times and actions for bedika, kol chamira, biur), to the maximum (you stayed up all night kashering and covering, and you have everything left to do in and out of the kitchen).

Because I'm not feeling ready to get going on my own task list for today yet, here are some of the items to consider, in alphabetical order (can we say "procrastination", children?):

Appearance - haircuts, nails, clothes, shoes, baths/showers

B
efore bedika, in addition to the obvious - cars, carseats, purses, diaper bags, backpacks/briefcases, coats/jackets.

Cover anything coming in contact with food, including high chair tray.

D
eep breaths/destress. Don't forget to include a bit of self care, so you're sane by seder. Nap, if time and desire. Maybe you can get others to as well, though I never did.

E
ntertainment - toys, books for kids to keep busy and out of trouble.

F
ood prep - everything for seder(s) (save extra time for lettuce checking, which tends to take the longest) -- roast bone and hard boiled egg, set table, chill wines if desired, review menu and make sure all food for meals is cooked or in crockpot.

L
aundry, you might not be doing it again for a while.

P
lan and make food for erev YT, the seudah is very late.

S
ave time to clean up kitchen after cooking.
