I am looking for a therapist to help my ASD 12 yr old son who in a mainstream Yeshiva in Lakewood to deal with his own emotions and also notice what is happening in the world around him and to improve his higher thinking skills. We have already done ABA and Floortime for years, but he is maxing out of what ABA can give him and I'm trying to figure out where to move on to. I am looking for referrals for agencies or therapists that work specifically with preteen/teenage boys (not only younger kids). Either ABA or Social Work, or anything else that worked for you!

I just saw this post so hope it's okay to respond. I have the same exact age son, also mainstream yeshiva in lakewood, we did speech and therapy for years. AT this point I have weekly therapy appointments with a child therapist to discuss parenting him. Occasionally he will speak to this therapist.

I don’t know anything about this but someone recommended it for my teenage ASD son.
