Do any Shomer Shabbos Rabbis hold that adults swimming (for pleasure) in the 9 days is ok?
Or is swimming for pleasure, Assur, across the board, among all Orthodox Rabbis?

Sefardim only hold of the week that Tisha B'av falls out on, so some years there is none.

And I am positive that there are heterim as needed for things like medical need, when it's not for pleasure.
(If you're trying to be dlkz someone.)

Ours said no "swimming or bathing for pleasure." I assume that means if it's necessary for something like rehab recovery, exercise, or work, it's permitted, but ask your LOR.

Our rabbi says exercise/lessons are ok. No swimming just for fun.

I also heard that.. like you have to go swimming because like you have arthritis or asthma and other exercises are too painful you are allowed to swim. It's still fun swimming but that is not your mean reason, but you should not just go swimming in a beach with your magazines and chill and get a popsicle and a cold beer.
Maybe things are different when you have young children?

Lessons are fine from what I hear. Never heard of a camp that didn’t do lessons.

MO - have never heard that Adults for pleasure is OK.
Instructional for children in camp is fine (trust me, it is not a pleasure for the adults instructors 😂)
Therapeutic for PT/health is fine.
Toddlers in a kiddy pool in your back yard in 97 degree weather is fine.
I went to a conservative camp as a child and we didn’t even have free swim for 10yo during the 9 days.
And yes, you can bath for the Mikva.

MO - our camps never had swimming during the nine days.
I personally know of two people who drowned during the 9 days, both very competent and strong swimmers.
If you are really overheated, take a cold shower and lie down in front of the air conditioner. Please don't tempt fate!

Wow what an etnocentric thing to say
All Sefardim hold its mutar until Shavua she Halbo ( week Tbav occurs)
Many poskim hold there is no Shavua she halbo this year

OP, you still need to ask your own personal shaila if appropriate. Hatzlacha!

She didn't say anything as a statement. She asked a question. There's nothing wrong with asking.

I keep reading posts about the customs of sepharadim during the 9 days and I want to point out that we don't eat meat or swim after rosh chodesh. The only big difference is showering and laundry, we do it until shavua shechal bo. Most of the sepharadim I know hold this way.

My father has a fleishig restaurant that is closed in the 9 days, but open on the day before Rosh Chodesh. He doesn't close early because it's already Rosh Chodesh, and Sefardim do come to eat meat that night. Ashkenazim only eat the parve stuff after nightfall.

שבוע שחל בו the week that tisha b'av falls out. So for this year does that mean the whole week till shabbos or only Sunday? Because 9 av is on shabbos.
