I did it once with Jamie Gellar’s recipe and it was ok, not quite as good as usual. Wouldn’t do it again. Froze orzo in oil and sautéed mushrooms and onions and it was perfect reheated covered in oven on 250-300 deg. Butternut squash kugel was still good, though a little more mushy- would do it again if needed and still tasted very good.

yes broccoli kugel is fine frozen. so is carrot puff or carrot kugel. serve them hot for best taste.
I freeze my cutlets stuffed with pastrami and broccoli kugel with great success!
