What happened to elite chocolate? I have not seen it on the shelves for months!

It's starting to come back now
There were issues in the factory.

The factory passed a government inspection in August, and the plan to return to production was approved. Items are gradually resurfacing in the shops, but they are not at full production yet, and the supy isnt reliable.

If you are in chutz l'aretz, it may take longer, since the export market might not be their top priority.
