I keep hand towels draped over the horizontal handles of the dishwashers and ovens.
They’re in good locations, near the sinks, and look fine.
But. They’re always falling on the floor! Nearly every time a kid dries their hand, the towel slips off, or almost off, so when I brush by it, it falls down!
I was thinking of putting some kind of rubber grip around the handles, but that would be ugly when not covered by the towels. I was also thinking of sewing Velcro or snaps on the towel so I can secure it around the handles it’s hanging from, but I think it would be annoying to dry your hands and feel the rough snaps or Velcro.
Any ideas?

Do your handtowels have a loop on them? Mine came with that. You can use a shower curtain ring around the handle of the dishwasher. Snap it open to attach the loop on the towel. Or you can use a magnet hook on the dishwasher door or a suction hook on the oven door.

1. Only buy hand towels WITH loops. This makes all the difference.
2. Then: install a strip of hooks (space permitting).
3. Or: hang with loop on hooks/suction cups by sink or cabinets. You can buy nicer ones.

I get towels with a magnetic patch in one corner. Then you can just put them directly on the fridge or the dishwasher and they stick.

I got them at a local shop in Israel (which has since closed down), but these seem to be the same idea.

The ones I have are great, but I don't know what these are like.

Just sew bias tape in a loop. That’s what it is anyway. I think it’s called double fold bias tape.
My ikea towels have hooks. I added to others.

I personally can’t stand the look of towels out in a kitchen, so I have hooks inside the cabinets under my sinks
Alternatively, you can hang them on an over the cabinet towel rod

Go onto Amazon: Hand tiles with loop or Kitchen towels with loop. There are thousands.
