You probably have a convection oven as a true convection oven has three heating elements.

There are fake convection ovens which merely have a fan to blow air which theoretically produces a convection effect.

I can see holes and something turning at the back of the oven?

where would these 3 elements be?

this is what says on their web

"The oven features a 3D HotAir cooking system which uses the fan to provide an even temperature across all shelf levels.

This is great for batch baking, and also means you won’t get any transfer of flavours, allowing you to cook sweet and savoury items at the same time. The perfect solution for even the busiest kitchen."

how much shorter is the baking time with convection?

3D hot air distributes heat so that food cooks evenly front to back top rack to bottom. You can check the food when you expect it to be 85% ready, as it might be fully ready.

Yes that is a convection oven and you need to alter cooking times. Best thing is to check before the time specified and also google for conversions for specific types of items. Any meats are best checked with an instant read thermometer

I find that my jelly roll and cookies are ready 3-5 min before recipe calls for.
