I am almost done all my cooking and just realized I forgot to line my oven door with foil! I cleaned it with easy-off and St. Moritz, but the door isn't totally clean. I also self cleaned my oven.
Is there a reliable leniency to still be able to use my food?
If yes, please let me know who gives this leniency.
Thanks!

My rav in Lakewood said we didn't have to line the door at all. And he even said we could use the food that was accidentally dropped on the oven door itself!

We don't line the door- we were specifically told there is no need. If it will come off the door into your food when you cook at 350 or 425, if will come off when you self clean.

If you cleaned it, it's just a chumra to line it. Some say no need, some say preferable but I can't imagine there's a rav who will say your already made food can't be eaten.

Thanks to all who responded! I texted my rav waiting for him to reply but I was so nervous!

To the Ima who was concerned about how I cleaned: I used the easy off just on the oven door and then self cleaned the oven after.

Even if you hold that it should be lined, food cooked before pesach in such an oven is fine.

I never heard of lining an oven door do yiu line insode or outside?

I self clean the oven. Prior to running the self cleaning cycle, I clean the part of the oven door that is past the liner, and on the inside facing rim as well.

I’ve never lined my oven door….
Also people need to stop using St. moritz, it’s so dangerous!! I don’t know why it’s still being sold.

I also never did. I don't need to ruin an appliance.
