I need new bras and have never shopped in a non Jewish store store for such a thing. How does it work I ask someone to fit me?

I buy my bras at bloomies but I imagine its the same. They measure you and bring your bras. Or they measure you and you choose bras by yourself. (How do the frummie stores do it? Haven’t been since my age 11 trauma at Saposh)

That’s the worst place to go
1) they don’t fit correctly
2) the bras have no support
3) the straps holing the bra are terrible.

Please. Be kind to your boobs and go to a Jewish store or private store that is not based my naked women - and get a proper bra.

My male science teacher used to be a fitter at VS... Just saying be wary, especially in times such as these

Look up lingerei store in your zip code and go to a proper store. You will get fitted better and have a selection of more supportive bras

I'd imagine that in VS or in any department store, you just walk into the store, select items from the racks, go to the dressing room, try them on, look at yourself in the mirror, and decide if the bra fits.

Or you can go in, ask a salesperson or other employee (in the lingerie dept if you are in a department store) if they do fittings. If they say "yes we do," ask to be fitted. Tell them ahead of time what your budget is.

For lingerie sets I think VS has nice options and a lot cheaper than the frum stores, I've also ordered from Macy's based on styles I liked from frum stores (like flora nikrooz) you don't need to be fitted like you do for everyday bras that need to be supportive

You have to try bras with the type of clothing you want to wear it with. Tee shirts and shells are not like elegant clothing.

I bought two bras in Victoria secrets once. Best I’ve ever had.
The triple the price ones in the Jewish stores that they “fit” me for were awful. I never have a good experience with the Jewish stores.

They will be as helpful and knowledgeable as macys salespeople.

You just pick what you like off the rack and try it.
Most of the stuff isn’t meant to be worn on a daily basis.
I also found them not to be good with having larger sizes.

They can measure you, but they have no idea what they're doing and you're more likely than not going to end up with the wrong size. Also, their bras are some of the worst on the market. Go to a Jewish store or a high end department store to get fitted.
