Have you ever thought about the fact that your adhd presenting or diagnosed child might be lacking actual brain matter to make behavioral or cognitive changes?
Until the actual brain expands its a losing battle with trauma heaped on top for good measure?

Huh? I'm really not sure I understand what you're trying to say.
Brains are extremely elastic at a young age. Learning new skills and making new neural connections does not depend on the amount of brain matter you have as a kid.
And trauma.. what are you trying to say about trauma? Not every kid has trauma. If your kid does, get them the help they need. Don't give up on them.
Helping your kid who has adhd is not a losing battle.
