Has anyone ever stayed in Cozumel? Where did you stay and what was your experience like? Seems like beaches are supposed to be cleaner than Cancun and there’s a nice amount of kosher options.
But I feel like everyone stays in Cancun or Playa del Carmen so I wonder what I’m missing here

I stayed in an air bnb right off the beach. It was beautiful!

Can you tell me what there is to do there? I'm in playa and thinking to go over for 1 day. besides for food what else should I look for to do

What your missing is that it's a 30 minutes ferry ride from Playa to Cozumel or a different airport which typically includes a stop over.
Yes the beach was beautiful in Cozumel but I was just as happy in Cancun.
