They are very very different types of seminaries. Machon Raaya is much more academic, much harder to get into.

I had a niece in Machon Raaya this past year. She, and other girls I know who went, are very in-town girls with a certain class/wealthy lifestyle. The girls I know who went to Kesser Chaya are more typical BY girls.
