I just cant master putting on eyeliner neatly in a straight line. Any tips?

Have your elbow rested on the table and your pinky rested on your cheek. Go in slow strokes and connect the lines at the end. You can clean up whatever mistakes you make with a thin brush dipped in liquid remover

I can only use the old fashioned pencil types-not the brush types. Even then, I can only manage a straight, neat line under the lower lashes, not on the eyelids. Would love to know how people do it.

To do the top eyeliner, tilt your chin up while looking in the mirror, pull at the side of your eye to stretch the eyelid, get as close to the lashes as possible.

Do it with your eyes open. You don’t have to do it all in one line, I start in the middle, go towards the edge, and then slowly 2 more lines connecting the inner corner.

Take a small card like half a business card, lay it just a smidge above your lashes and follow the bottom edge of the card.

Use liquid and then go over it with soft pencil or gel pencil

I start at the end of my eye and use a very thin eye
For cat eyes/wings I use scotch tape to make it even
I personally find pencils to be much harder than liquid brushes that glide easily

I’m Canadian so I’m not sure how to get to the American site but hopefully with that you can figure it out. I like it and will use for shabbos although occasionally some of it will come off by the end of shabbos. It has a very precise tip which really helps with applying it.
