Gourmet Glatt South (possibly north also, but I don't know for sure) has a 50% off shelf. Day old pastries and sunken stuff.
It's all week long, just not on Sunday.
They don't usually have challa and bread items, but they usually have a decent selection of babka, cookies, cakes, etc.

I think aisle 9 and gourmet glatt have 50% off closer to Shabbos, but not all Friday. I’ve been to both stores later on Friday and they announced that everything is discounted.
