Totally random poll. I opened a banana earlier and it was perfectly yellow and so good. I know some people like them overripe and some won't eat them with any spots.

Funny you started this thread as I’ve been having a recent craving for bananas when previously I never ate them. I started a new diet though and I’m not eating sugar so I must be craving it in fruit but bananas? Random but ok.

I enjoy them anwhere from partially green to spotted. But I convince my kids to eat them when they're darker than I prefer. LOL

They're basically banned from my house, it's the smell of overripe bananas that I can't handle.

Some of us like it perfectly yellow and some when it's spotted. When my kids were younger I would tell them that the brown spots mean that they have "honey" in them. They totally bought it and some stayed with that preference even as teens. Parenting is 70% marketing Wink

Absolutely detest bananas in any way, shape or form. They do not enter my house. If someone eats a banana in front of me, I will leave the room.
I literally gag from the smell.
There are other foods that I dislike but I can tolerate when others eat. It is only bananas that elicit this visceral, physical reaction.

I love random polls and threads!

A banana is perfect for me when it's still a bit green. Not too much, but once it's all yellow, it's over!

When they're fleked with brown and a golden hue, that's when bananas are good for you

Well, its true. The more ripe, the sweeter it is.

I cant understand how anyone could eat green/unripe bananas. That goes for any unripe fruit. I always wait for my fruits to be really, really ripe eg. mango, cantalope, kiwis... Theres a world of a difference in taste between a ripe and unripe fruit!

I cant stand the sweet banana taste.
Brown spots are the worst for me.

I guess I dont like them really.

I only eat them when theyr a tiny bit underripe and green.
I dont like banana in anything.

If it has brown on, I dont finish it.
Haha if my kids would do that theyd get told off Can't Believe It
