Not sure which branch you are referring to. Most take walkins but prioritize the appointments, so you can wait a long time.

It used to be you could make an appointment for 2:00 p.m. show up at 10:00 a.m. And they still take you all right away
They don't do that anymore. If you're not there within 15 minutes of your appointment, you lose it and you have to wait
At least that was my experience last time I did that
Download the app. Make an appointment. Keep to it.

Make an appointment and get there a bit early for the online check in.
I heard they cancel if you are more than ten minutes late.
Bring a hard copy of requisition and your insurance card and ID

I wouldn't go to the Boro Park location. I made an appointment there recently. They were running a full hour behind. Then the tech decided to take lunch at 11:30 for an hour. The waiting room was full of people who had been waiting a long time.
I ended up leaving and going to the 2nd nearest location the next day. I was seen within 15-20 minutes of my arrival.
I don't know why, but every time I go to LabCorp I'm seen way quicker. (Though it's not the local location.)
