Like a vegetable or a bean/pea soup that I can put in the crockpot (with it being fully cooked before Shabbos)

Is there a reason you can't put up a soup raw to cook overnight in the crockpot? We do that every week!

I don't know. I have heard people do that but when I was asked I was told no.

What’s the difference between that and cholent? Or do you put up your cholent already cooked?

Put up cholent already cooked.
That's why I don't know if there is soup that would last all those hours in crockpot

Maybe because it's not meat? I think putting raw food on may only be ok for meat.

I've had no success with watery broths, but with something bean- or potato-based you should be good. Something I like is a chickpea, potato, and squash soup. I also add big chunks of carrots. A little tomato sauce in the liquid helps keep it from being too watery or from evaporating too much.

I sometimes make a beef mushroom barley soup in the winter on a really cold shabbos.
