Hi.
Looks like were moving to lakewood area for the new school year.
But I need to find a boys school for my son.
Any suggestions for aboys school thats easy to get into and still has room?
5th/6th grade next year.)

Unfortunately, no school is easy to get into in Lakewood.

We decided to move to Lakewood around this time a few years ago. It wasn't easy, and you need people to make phone calls on your behalf, but we did get into school.
Honestly, in a way it's easier with the older grades. But you need to find the right school and then pressure that one school.

Some ppl who live in Lakewood aren't even in schools yet :-(
We just got in about a week ago. We had lots of pull, we're an established Lakewood family.
Hopefully, because you are looking for an older grade, it will be easier.
I'm not trying to discourage you, chas v'shalom.
I'm just trying to give you a sense of what you may, realistically, be facing.
What's your plan? The Vaad? Do you have connections to any school? Maybe, family that has similar values here who is in a certain school?
Boys schools start August 23rd here.
