I have to work to support my family.
I feel so bad about sending my kids to daycare (baby and toddler ) especially with all the discourse about how babies and toddlers belong at home with their moms.
It’s not about a luxurious lifestyle . If I don’t work we will have no money for food or clothes
I’m just sad about sending my kids out, especially my newborn. Arguably, my toddler likes being around other children .

Can we change the Mom Guilt into Mom Grief?
It is not your fault that you need to send out your young children. You still can be legitimately sad about it. We wish we could take care of our children in the best possible way. It’s not always in our control. That doesn’t make it easy to handle.

OP, are you against taking government programs?
Or would you consider babysitting at home so you can be with your little ones, and toddler would still have company?
Or work in a daycare keeping your baby in your class.

If you feel confident that your kids are in a safe, loving environment that is meeting their physical and emotional needs, there's no need to feel guilty. If you're not feeling confident about it, I would reconsider your options.
