What beach are you looking for? I haven't lived there in a while but in my day, I think you can take the B11 or the B6 to the Q train and it will go to Brighton beach and Coney Island. You can probably also take the F train but that takes longer.

I dont feel comfortble taking the train.

B11 to Ocean Ave B 49 to Manhatten Beach

When I was a teen we used to take 2 busses to Manhatten Beach in Brooklyn. Call the MTA and find out if that route is still an option.

There are apps or websites you can use the plan the route. Rome to Rio is one website.

If ur ok with switching afew times you can go to Midland Beach in Staten Island. You take the B16 till 4th Ave x 86th st then switch to S53 for 3 stops and transfer to S51 till the beach(About 10 minutes) we were there afew times this summer, though we went by car. Clean, beautiful beach. Much nicer and less hectic than Coney Island Beach.
