She is very sensitive and gets hurt very quickly.
I see it too, I also feel like shes not well liked-not hated as in a "avoid her" kind of way, but more like nobody wants to play with her/call her to join their games...
Shes outgoing, fun, friendly, good at sports... not different in any way just very sensitive-which I recognise is a good trait! we want our kids to be kind... but OTOH...
Any ideas?

Following, DD9 is also very sensitive, in a different way but I definitely need to make her more resilient

Sign her up for sports, swim team, or Krav Maga. It will build confidence and teach her how to be strong.

It sounds like the cycle of social anxiety. Kid is anxious, they come across as self conscious and not confident, they don't attract friends and then they are hurt which just reinforces the anxiety and self consciousness.
Treat the anxiety. On a nervous system level.
