Anyone have recommendations for a pop up tent to be used as a succah? Is it halachically ok?
Please let me know?

If you google "portable sukkah" you will find some examples of open-top pop-up tents with schach.

Thank you. But those are over $200. My question is, can I just buy a pop up shower tent for $40 and use my own schach mat?

You'd have to figure out how to cut out the top and add s'chach according to halacha. Call a rav to figure it out.

I asked a rav in the past and yes it is doable but it got too complicated for me to actually end up doing it. I think it's a great idea though if you can!!

Thank you. What made it complicated?

I don't remember exactly, but there was more to it than pop up tent, place schach. I think it had to be fastened to the ground maybe? Like so as not to blow away with a strong wind?
Really ask your rav because I know there are different opinions.

It has been 200 years since my kids had to build model sukkahs and I have a touch of dementia. If I am not mistaken, the sechach needs to rest on a natural substance, ie it needs to be on wood, and not resting on metal/plastic/nylon. You can definitely google so that when and if you need to so wake with a Rav you know what you are talking about.
Here is some info for you (if you hold by the OU)

Thank you. I didn’t know that about schach. Now I’ll really have to ask.

The lower parts of the walls need to be solid enough not to.shake in a wind. That's why all the canvas sukkahs have those straps around them. They form a halachic wall.
