There are enough on the board for now, can we please all decide to stop making new ones since it took over the entire imamother?
To be honest, I’m an op of one as well. I enjoyed it when it just started but I miss the regular imamother variety. 90% is AMA now. Let’s enjoy the ones that are still running but stop making new ones for now and get back to regular threads. Like if you agree with me. It’s okay if you don’t.

It’s a trend.
The ice bucket challenge didn’t stay around forever.
It will pass sooner than you think.
I personally love these threads. It’s fascinating to get a peak into people’s inner lives.

Agree. I hate them. I'm not interested to question an anonymous person about their life. Especially anyone who wants a response, makes one. It's pathetic.

As I said I don’t mind them but I feel it took over the entire site and I miss regular threads.
So we have to collectively agree to go back to regular.
Maybe it will happen on its own after sukkos.

Yes. Or bein hazmanim is too long, Yom tov is too stressful, winter is too dark, etc.

This happens every so often. It will run its course or Yael will stop it at some point. Yes, it’s pretty annoying when it becomes the only thing on the site.

She could be really forceful, and have the mods delete them all. I really doubt she would do anything like that.

Or she could just make a post asking people to stop. I doubt she would do that either, but when she does post, people tend to respect her.

Most likely she'll just leave the trend to run its course.
