Anyone have a great sewing machine repair contact? I damaged mine while doing alterations for my wedding gown (beading) and I need someone good!

They used to have someone in house, I was a frequent visitor. I guess since management changed things shifted.

Please update once he comes. I'm not sure if my machine is worth fixing or needs to be replaced. How much is a service call?

He told me he can't come till next Friday....didn't realize he meant today. Yay! He came and fixed my sewing machine, and also did a tune-up (don't want to say when I did that last....) He charged me $125. I think that's pretty fair.

BTW he said (like everything else) that my old sewing machine (I took my mother AH's) is better than the newer ones and definitely worth fixing.

Thanks for the update!
My machine is only a few years old and I think I paid $85 on black Friday. It's a Brother but it never worked great.
For me it's probably not worth spending more on but I will give the info to my mother who's 40 yr old machine needs sevice.
