What are people wearing? Nude stockings or black stockings or black tights? Wedding is in Lakewood in a few weeks. (Dress will go with all the options)

if black stockings are in for the trendy type that's not what I want, I'm just looking for what the majority of with-it people will be wearing please and thank you Smile

I wear nude for more elegance.
I think black is more casual. But most wear black, so you can't go wrong with either.

I think most people are switched over to black tights at this point so you'll definitely be fine in tights but stockings are a little more dressy so if you're the classy/elegant type you can do that. Also depends on your age. Young people generally wear black tights in the winter even when fancy but if you're a little older you can prob pull of stockings to be elegant

I went to a wedding last night in Lakewood. Many girls and women were wearing black tights. When I say tights, I mean the thicker tights, not thin stockings.

I think black stockings is dressier and more appropriate for a wedding. I’m 45.

Most people will be wearing black tights
The super fancy ones who are wearing louboutons and dior and fur coats may be wearing nude tights, but it’s a very small and elite crowd

With a fancy dress either black or nude stockings. Opague tights dont go with a fancy dress to me.

I think nude stockings are most elegant. But even black stockings is more elegant the black opaque tights. I basically only wear black opaque during the week.

Black tights. I once wore nude to a Lakewood wedding in the fall because people on here said it’s more elegant but I was the only one. Basically don’t listen to people who don’t live there. If you do give advice when someone asks a location specific question best to say this is what I would do but I don’t live there.

It depends on the crowd. More yeshivish, black tights. Less yeshivish, more stylish, nude all year round.

I was at 2 weddings last week. One I wore nude too the other black

I think that 99% of the wedding guests will be wearing black tights.

I dont know anyone under the age of 60 that wears black stockings (and I know the fancy crowd theyre wearing their louboutins with black as well....).

Nude in the winter is only for a kallah that has a light colored dress for her vort etc.

Just my opinion feel free to ignore..
