Hi,
Does anyone have more information to share about this mesivta?
Tiferes Shlomo in Inwood. I like the idea of dorming and coming home for shabbos.
What type of boys? Level learning?
Any idea about what the campus is like? English?
Sports?

I live local and heard they are trying to get a very yeshivish crowd and compete with riverdale and phili. But the yeshiva is only opening up next school year so it’s very hard to know what will happen…

Thanks so much, do you mean this coming school year? This coming Elul Zman 2024-2025? Wouldnt they be taking applications now then?
Or they are only opening the following year 2025-2026?
If its this coming year any idea of the campus/dorms?

It’s for 24-25.
They bought three big properties next to each other on a residential block. The properties currently have houses on them so they will have to do some construction to convert to classrooms and dorms. I don’t know what the plans are but it’s a very very nice sized campus.

I heard it’s a yeshiva for metzuyanim but not Uber yeshivish. I think it will be similar to how shaar hatorah in queens is but with a warm atmosphere. There will be an interesting English curriculum where they will be taught subjects that correlate to careers.
