I have the bare study right now, but thinking of getting painterly for a base coat under eyeshadow. has anyone used both and can tell me which they like better?

I have painterly, that’s what the artist at MAC recommended as primer under eye-shadow. I like it. I’ve been using it for many years.

Another to consider is soft ochre which I like because it has yellow undertones which match my skin.
