Susia? I believe it's the yiddish version of Sarah, means princess

If they're of German extraction, it could also be a German pronunciation of Zeese, "sweet" spelled in German Süße or Süsse.

The pronunciation is sussa with a lower case u as in uh. Nicknamed to sossy. Comes from Hungarian/romainian border area

My grandmother had only one name and this was her name
