Our kallah and her chosson were looking at rings and she mentioned liking one that is lab created.
Does anyone know what this is? How does it differ from a regular diamond? Would it be OK for her engagement ring?

It's a real diamond that's created in a lab, and it looks like any other diamond, but the resale value is lower, and its monetary value is less stable. Some people don't like the idea of a diamond that isn't mined, and some people prefer a mined diamond because they want the diamond to be a store of value. There's nothing wrong with them, and they are a little cheaper, so they're a great choice for people who either want to spend less or want a bigger diamond for their money and do not intend to resell the stone.

Newsflash- the resale value of a mined Diamond is also low.
The most you can get for selling your Diamond is 90% of its wholesale price.
Diamonds don’t retain value- it’s all marketing.

That is true. Diamond jewelry is not a good financial investment.
