You're asking what to do when you don't know how to dance. I'll answer when you can'tdance, as when I had a leg in a cast. 1. Wore a long dress to cover up the cast and covered the cast with a length of matching fabric to hide the parts that stuck out. 2. Stood in one place, swayed my upper body back and forth in time to music , clapped my hands and let my daughter twirl around me.
In retrospect I should have left the cast showing. With it covered, no one knew I was handicapped and no one knew to keep out of my way.

You can just walk/ run around the circle. No one will really notice.
