We used to love going to Gobo's in BP for one night of Chanuka to get a collection of their yummy and exotic donuts. What other places in BP/Flatbush come close in terms of having both delicious donuts but also a big selection of lots of different flavors?

I believe that City Cafe on 18th Avenue is owned by or has some sort of relationship with GOBO. I think they have the same donuts..

I miss Gobo too. Sesame and Tam Eden don't compare.
Mendelsohns has fancy ones I'm looking to try.

Gobos changed managements a few times while they were in business, but the original one had the donut recipe from the donut Man!!
Anyone who is comparing a Sesame donut to the donut man donuts is literally committing a CRIME 
Jokes aside, you are looking for a light, fluffy donut right? Try royal donuts. They have a chanuka pop up shop somewhere on 18 avenue.
Korns donuts are also pretty light
Sesame has the heaviest oiliest densest donuts in town 
Eta fallsburg bagels isn't bad either

Does Weiss' bakery still exist (13th Avenue), IIRC between 50 & 51? We used to splurge on their donuts once per Chanukah. (and once there get their szerbo and nut and chocolate rugelach. And sugar cookies. But that's just us)

Oh man, Gobo's closed?! Been on my bucket list for a while and never got there unfortunately  heard they were the best
(Luckily according to my scale I don't actually need to eat any more donuts for the rest of my life probably  )

Sesame doughnuts are lousy. They have the worst dough. Some of the fillings are decent but the rest taste very artificial.
Highly recommend taam Eden doughnuts

Country Bagels (40th and 13th) doughnuts are delicious, and the price certainly reflects that, at $6.75 apiece!

I have not had them, but Taste Of Israel, supposedly has great doughnuts, that't why they always sell out. Good luck getting them.
Sesame's are a bit doughy. I like Schreiber's
