Hi, can you please reccomend some good cooking shows that I can watch online (Like Gordon Ramsey) that can help me become a better cook?

I would love to enhance my skills.

Thanks in advance!

America's Test Kitchen as well as Milk Street on PBS.

The PBS shows tend to be more informative whereas Food Network shows tend to be much more gimmicky.

I really learned a lot of technique from watching the older cooking shows but they were taken off the air for the most part and replaced with hosts that are "flashy". I never knew how to actually cut an onion properly until I saw the technique on one of the early shows.

I don't watch but I have read that Youtube is now a place where there are actually good instructional cooking videos.

Here is a long Reddit thread with a lot of recommendations and it is fairly current

I love to watch cooking shows on youtube its my mindless entertainment but the language can leave something to be desired so be prepared to turn it off.

Some that I dont have to constantly go ugh are :

Americas Test Kitchen
Brian Lagerstrom
Ethan Chlebowski
If you love red meat Guga
Natashas Kitchen
Pro Home Cooks
Sip and Feast
J Kenji Lopez Alt
Smitten Kitchen
