I defrosted chicken drumsticks with the intention of cooking them for supper tonight but we ended up going out to eat. I have some leftovers I wanted to eat tomorrow so would rather save the chicken for another time-can I cook and then freeze (again) the chicken? Is this food safe? And also if so is there any recipe that won’t sacrifice the quality of the chicken once reheated?

I cook and freeze
If you cook in a sauce or gravy it should taste good when reheated. Not like fresh but we eat it fine
