How do I do that? Are there any books you recommend?
I love inks paints and different textures. Prefer not to spend too much $
Where did you learn and where is best place to buy supplies? Which supplies should I invest in?
How do I just start? Getting materials together (pouring paint in tray) is daunting bec it means I’m committed. I’m cheap and don’t want to waste the paint.
What inspires you to begin painting/drawing?
The purpose of my drawing would be to convey a deep idea. And enjoy the blending of colors.

You can probably find youtube tutorials, or see if there are any in person classes in your area.
I think acrylic paint is the easiest to work with.
As to where to buy, where do you live?

Get a copy of The Artist's Way to help foster creativity.
And if you like want to get good at drawing, there's a book called Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain that I really enjoyed.

I can’t begin to tell you how many hours I spent watching tutorials. You really could learn a lot, I started out with paint pouring than moved on to textured art.
I have not done art in over a year but I miss it! My creative side is so hungry to get back at it but life is so hectic bh!

You can get a wet palette, or make your own with wet paper towels and parchment paper on top, so the paint doesn’t dry out.
However, people who are afraid of risks and potential waste, generally don’t do well running their own business, which is full of risks and expensive mistakes.
