Is this only for providers who were getting enhanced rates? Because the regular rates were pretty low...don't see how they could cut that lower

My understanding is everyone is switching to 1099 and those who were getting above a certain amount are getting cut as well.

Part of switching to a 1099 is that you are not employed by them so you can’t have a supervisor they are switching to calling it “advisors” instead.
What I heard they never gave anyone contracts to sign this year it all said agreement or something to that effect on them to cover themselves.
Not sure what you mean by lawyer fees? Someone who was working for them would not have needed a lawyer cause encore did all that back work for them.

My understanding is this is relevant for all related service providers.

Can anyone explain how they work these lawyer fees? As a parent, they are billing me for it. No other agency I worked with did that

I guess with all the changes they don't have a choice. can you get services with another agency that wouldn't charge?

I'm afraid not. His school only works with this agency. I was just wondering if this is really their policy and if it's right of them to do so or are they just trying to get as much money out of the parents as possible.

Must be a fairly new policy. With all the doe changes they are probably experiencing a great loss... so it might be their only option to cover the costs Sad

Can you share more information? Who told you they will be charging you? When was this? I haven’t heard they’d be charging parents.

Pay rates are being cut as of Jan 1 so they are claiming it’s a new year. Not comfortable discussing amounts on here but I was not at the highest rate and am being cut $15 an hour plus switched to a 1099 for related services not SEIT
