I want to buy a nice gift for my mother in law for a few things she has done for me recently that is above and beyond. Any ideas where to go? I feel like the typical home store like towels etc is something I’ve done already

Rather than rely on a bunch of strangers who don't know your mil from Eve and who subscribe to the idea that "she's a woman, ergo she likes jewelry, handbags and spa treatments," ask someone who knows her well, like your dh, your sister-in-law, or your mil's BFF.
