Any recs for a cheap laptop repair in Brooklyn?
I tried the computer store on 13th ave but the quote the gave me was really high and I didn't feel like it made sense for the small issue I was having

I've hard good experiences with MRK Computer Services in Crown Heights. It's not a Jewish place, but the guy who runs it knows his stuff and I found the pricing fair. You can also call him first on the phone to get a sense of pricing to see if it's worth it.

Are you able to call the computer company and they could guide you over the phone? Just had a technical issue with acer laptop and they were able to help me over the phone. No charge

Not really, it's the charging port that needs to be replaced (My wire broke inside it).
I googled the part and it shouldn't be more than $6-7 so how much is the labor already to screw it in?
I will try the other suggestions, thanks and will take any more.
