If you're willing to go to Manhattan I can recommend Dr. George Yang (he's a facial plastic surgeon, not a dermatologist). I went to him for subcision a number of years ago and it made a big difference.

It's like a more intense form of microneedling, using needles to detach tethered scar tissue. It only works for some types of acne scars, but it's pretty effective for those types. Here's a more complete explanation: https://www.healthline.com/health/subcision
