Keeps coming back. Started using spring water instead of tap, doesn’t help. How do I get rid of this?

It might be limescale from hard water. It can be cleaned with lemon juice.

To clean the urn walls from a whiteish look aka limescale: Fill urn with water. Add 4 Tbsp citric acid/sour salt. Turn on. Once fully boiled, spill out fully.
If there is still residue, run another cycle with sour salt.
Then rise it by adding clean water, plugging in bring to a boil again. Spill out.

And then use as usual.

Same problem. Doesn't matter what water we use. I run vinegar through the machine every single week.

Thanks everyone for the advice!

How much vinegar do you use and do you combine with water? Once you run it through how do you know it’s all out? Do you run it with regular water and then dump that also?

I don’t have that handy; vinegar, I do. Smile tried that first will see how it works, but will get sour salt to do as needed. How much of it do you use and how many cycles of plain water do you do after? Thanks!

Look at Ra_mom's post.

But after cooking it up the first time, I dont spill it right away, I let it stand about 15-20 minutes.

You could get sour salt on amazon.
