I posted an item on a free giveaway chat.
Someone said they wanted it and I said I will put it out near my driveway and they could come get it when they want. They told me they are looking for a truck to pick it up because it's heavy and big.
That was a few days ago and it will be snowing in the next few days.
I haven't heard from them.
Could I assume they don't want it?
And I could put it for the garbage?
I don't have time to run after them. We were back and forth when they said they wanted it.
It's standing in my yard and I don't want it there anymore.

When is your next garbage day?
You kindly let them know if it's not picked up by so and so, it's going into the garbage.
Done.

Why can't you just text them that you're putting it out for garbage at x time and if they want it they need to get it before then?

Agree with above. Message the individual it's outside since whenever and it will only be there another x amount of time.
Ps - if it's a bunkbed, I'll come get it after "x amount of time"
