My baby is not a great sleeper. She's 9 months and has been in our room until now because we were in the middle of renovations and didn't have a room for her. The work is basically done and we're going to move her into her own room in the next few days, latest next week. As is, the bassinet in our room is hit or miss and she ends up in my bed alot 🙈 But I'm really done with this. I need to get her to accept the crib and sleep on her own. I know she can because she goes to the babysitter and sleeps in the pack n play there (though her naps are never more than an hour). Anyway, I just know getting her to accept the crib is not going to be a fun time, but I need it to happen. I need to start sleeping decently again, I'm not functioning great lately. How do we go about this with the least fuss? We did set the room up with a bed, so I don't mind being in there for as long as she needs.

Put her in and comfort her by sitting next to her and shushing her or rubbing her back. When she settles nicely with that you can start removing things like not rubbing, or shushing and moving further away from the crib slowly until you can just put her in and not be in the room at all.
