I've seen Il Makiage foundation advertised on instagram...how is it possible that the ads look so amazing? the foundation matches incredibly to the person...?

I have a policy not to buy anything from instagram...but then I saw it on sale on amazon too.

Does it actually work? Does the "power match" really match?

I haven't tried it and don't know much about it. But if you want an incredible color match, get an affordable foundation and pigments so you can mix your own perfect shade.

Foundation color adjusting pigments:

You can mix it to make foundation darker or lighter, more red, more yellow, or olive undertones. There are videos online for tips on how to do this. You can do this to an expensive foundation too, but it's better to start with an affordable one just in case you add a little too much pigment and want to dilute it. If you want to adjust your whole bottle, depending on the type of packaging, you can pour it out into a bowl, mix to adjust little by little, and then use a funnel to put it back.

I use this fondation its not perfect like the video obviously Very Happy

but I like thats its lightweight, full coverage and u can build on it

Yes I tried it and it was nowhere near a close match like the ads are. I returned it.

I once tried it in one of their stores and could not find a good match and it felt so heavy on my skin.
It's just a normal foundation with good marketing.

I did and I didn't like it, so I returned it.
But sometime later I received a $50 gift credit, so I got myself a makeup brush.
It was worth the try Very Happy
