So I overestimated my machine and it stopped mid cycle. It couldn’t handle the bulk of my full sized comforter.

I now have a sopping wet mountain, that weighs more than me. Outdoors is snowy. What do I do with it?

Tips? Advice? Help!

Go to laundromat with oversize washers and dryers.

I’d wring it out in the bathtub. Hang it over the shower or use chairs spread them far apart and hang it. Put towels on the floor under to absorb the water.

Hanging over bathtub won’t work, it’s heavy enough to bring down even mounted rods. I guess I’ll have to squeeze it out first, but it’s so huge I don’t have the strength! I can hardly lift it..

Hang over an open door 🚪.

Make sure to wipe off the dust first.

Put it in your bathtub, lie a few towels on top and press down to squeeze it out (you can let kids do this job). Once it's less heavy you can try letting your washer do a spin cycle on it.

Put it back in for a spin cycle. Then hang over the door. You may need to put out in the sun as well to fully fry.
