Can I make my oven recipe in a pot? Or a crockpot?
I don’t want to make pulled beef
I want beautiful thin ish slices
I usually do this in the oven, but my oven broke
Is pot or crockpot better?
Do I cook it for as long as in the oven?
I usually do 325 1 hr per lb - slice - and reheat.
When it reheats it softens further

Don’t tell me use 2nd cut
I have 1st cut

I do crockpot sometimes. About four hours on high should make for sliceable brisket. You can reheat in the crockpot like usual.

Btw, second cut would turn into pulled beef and you couldn’t slice it, so you definitely should use first cut.
