Which sports is yours trying for?

DS 17 months is going for:
- Climbing to the top of the bunkbed ladder
- Pushing a chair over to the stove and climbing up to check it out
- Unloading the bookshelf repeatedly
- Climbing on desk chairs and rearranging things
- Pouring all of his food promptly on the floor and holding out the bowl for more

Any competitors, or should I clear space on the wall for his medals?

Oh yes, I forgot the dishwasher emptying and climbing in!

Do you think they'll be competing against each other? Or are they in different age groups?

I'm sure I'd have the vase breaking, but thankfully I have neither vases nor a fireplace mantel.

My 3 year spilled a plate of saucy spaghetti and meatballs on the floor.
I cleaned it up, made him a new plate.
Promptly flipped plate #2 on the freshly cleaned floor.

At least me and his big sister were crying from laughter.

Dd 14 months takes a bin full of toys, empties it then stands on it near the stovetop and tries to help me cook. She also has a passion for pulling the tablecloth to reach something that’s in the middle of the table.

Puke they’re just adorable!

On the same note, Dd 14 months likes to splash in the toilet bowl and lick her hands. I keep checking every few minutes to make sure the door is closed…

I read and pictured each toddler.
Each one sounds so delicious.
Kah may we see only nachas from all of them.
May we always accept them with the love, grace and humor with which we so easily view them now.

My two year old loves opening the refrigerator door, clearing space on the bottom shelf, and sitting down!

I've also had toddlers who were going for the gold in "how many things can we stick into the electrical outlet today."

So far this week my baby (14m) has
-tried to climb out of his crib (good thing he only tried!)
-climbed and sat on his music table
-ripped a pack out of a Gemara
-ripped a bit of a page out of my new cookbook
-threw most of his food on the floor

I think that’s about it

Dd2 just figured out how to open child locks. First one of my kids to do so. Definitely a gold medalist. She is now queen of the house.

Thank you everyone for chiming in! I'm feeling too low energy for my obviously not low energy toddler and needed to recharge my sense of humor for another day! (And hopefully motivate me to do something about the tornado here so we can have a fresh start tomorrow.)

I still need to clean up the banana peels from when DS perfected his banana peeling skills. I made sure to use the opportunity to teach DS3 how to clean up pieces of mushy banana using a paper towel. His wife can thank me later.

Best luck on the competitions tomorrow!

If it makes you feel better, tonight I told my husband that as soon as the baby is done playing, I will put him away.

I would post but mine is so unique I'm sure someone would remember since I told so many peopel. SUffice it to say, it took my son (then 2) about 30 seconds to work out something that about 3 decades worth of granchildren and great grandchildren had never figured out (according to his great grandparents!). They couldn't get over it.
Plenty of other things too, all unique that I've never heard of another kid doing. He lives up to his name, let's just say! LOL LOL
