We don’t have a linen closet and right now our towels take a lot of precious space in a bedroom closet.
I am thinking of storing them In a basket under the bathroom Sink. I think it will look very neat and organized since I don’t have much there.
However, I’m now reading online that it is not the best thing to store towels under the sink because it is not so sanitary to keep them in the bathroom. Both for reasons that it is close to the toilet and also because there’s moisture in the bathroom.
I don’t have that many towels, and we would be circulating through them And washing them regularly.
Does anyone here store them under the bathroom sink or have any opinions as to whether or not this is OK.

If they're getting used and cycled regularly I would have no problem. I store some of my towels on an open shelf in the bathroom, and so do hotels.
If you're very concerned, store your guest towels in the guest bedroom.

I store mine under the sink. They are white and I bleach wash them weekly.

If they're going to be utilized, moved and washed often, they'll be fine.

Bath towels on hooks over the bathroom door, extras and hand towels and washcloths on shelving above the toilet, kitchen towels in the closet closest to the kitchen (don't have so many, I wash and rotate often).

Kids and guest bath towels are in the linen closet
Kitchen towels are in the main floor laundry room
