I breaded cutlets last night with flour, egg mixture and pretzel crumbs.
It was very late and I was zonked. I asked DH if he can pack away the cutlets so I can bake it tom.
I wake up and DH just took the breaded chicken and dumped it in the fridge w/o covering it.
Is this unsafe to eat? All my hard work.....

Why is it unsafe? It’s in the fridge. Should be fine!

Why would it be unsafe to eat? It was in the fridge. Sometimes I put breaded cutlets in the fridge uncovered for an hour before baking or frying because it gets the coating crispier. They’re for sure okay to eat.

It’s not unsafe. Just sometimes it can have a slight fridge taste if left open.

It’s not unsafe but MEN! Did he think you couldn’t open the fridge and put it inside if that’s all you meant by putting it away?!

Of course he did lol
Op, I cover every single thing I put in the fridge, but when I bread cutlets on Thursday I actually usually leave them uncovered because they don't get soggy and then they are very crispy when I cook them. They will be more than fine!
