Dd just turned 2 and over the past few days has become SUPER fearful. Like not normal toddler fears. Whole body shaking as she clutches me and buries her face in me type of fears.
Happened recently when an uncle came over, when I was playing with her and spun around, when I took out a new pajama for her, when she saw a fake statue of a animal... like really random stuff.
What can cause these sudden fears and what can I do about them? She's usually such a happy kid! No trauma, family changes....

Now that u mentioned it, she is on antibiotics this week for an ear infection. So I x think it would be strep but maybe the antibiotics is causing it??

So I x think it would be strep but maybe the antibiotics is causing it?? | Bacterial ear infections are often caused by strep bacteria but yes, antibiotics can potentially be a cause as well by disturbing gut microbiota.

If this is all it is and she'll spring back after the meds are completed tomorrow I'll be so happy. I'm gonna definitely monitor her. Thanks!
