There are lead pellets or something in the bottom of the cup BELOW the stainless steel cup. So unless you break the cup open, you cannot expose the lead. In the video you shared, you can see that the bottom of the stanley cup had been forcibly opened. That is not the top of the cup where you drink from.
If you glued a piece of lead the the underside of a Corelle plate and then sealed it so you can't even touch it, you would not be concerned about lead getting into your food. Same thing.
